Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://www.total911.com/ Got to read the new issue of Total 911 magazine and it has a great 996 C4S multipage writeup with great news. Even has a nice C4S on the mag cover. Anyway the article has many glowing comments about the C4S including it being "highly sought after" with real collector value (one day), even though they got the tire size wrong. The feature article is multipages with many large C4S photos of a nice one. Read the article if you get the mag or see it somewhere. I dont think the article is in the online version. Makes me feel a little better about saving my C4S for my future car collection hobby.

What issue #? -Eric P.S. Nevermind...it's 101.

POST 3Original post

They must've edited out the part about the love/hate relationship owners that always bad mouth these cars but yet still hang onto them as ornaments to their garage.

POST 4Original post

The amount of replies on this thread should speak volumes back to the K'ster. Your 15 minutes is up.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK, SP. What on earth is your problem? The post was for info and certainly didnt ask for or expect replies. I doubt anyone but a C4S owner or potential owner, would find the article of interest.

Just stating the obvious. You see...you have a pattern. Your time at RL has been like this... 1. Post every 996 under the sun that is for sale and ask opinions about it. PITA threads but honest. 2. Buy a 996 and start hatin' on it and 944's. The 944 got you a vacation. 3. Come back from your time sitting in a corner and you start posting helpful DIY's. Nice. 4. The famous 300 mile road trip where you are not sure it can drive that far. 5. The above thread turns into your infomercial and guys start calling you on it. You turn to silence. 6. And now we are back to nice threads about our cars. You sir are a bowl of fruitloops

That about sums it up. I don't think anyone could've said it better.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, you just had to do this so here go's nothing: I think I posted 3 and bought one of them. Wanted a 944 or 928 project car, btw they are POS's. Lesson learned. Im always polite in every post, even when calling someone out (like you). Good thing I dropped trans. RMS was shot and IMSB seals were compromised, many clutch parts bad. Better than being stranded away from home. You obviously didnt read the reply to that nonsense. Repeat, always nice. Only on Mondays! I think your mad because you dont have a C4S destined for collector status (according to article). omg, just kidding.

POST 9Original post

Didn't Jeremy Clakson called the C4S the "Only if I worked a little harder" version of the 911?

Well we can agree on something after all.

POST 12Original post

Best looking water-cooled Carrera in my opinion. Round lights and duck tails on a modern Porsce of such girthy proportions is not good design imo. BTW, I followed the OP's link and saw that Webber is sayanaro at Redbull next season! This can only mean Kimi Raikkonen is coming to RedBull to partner Vettel. http://www.total911.com/news/mark-we...e-for-porsche/
