After many aftermarket attempts, I have finally resolved myself to just put the damn OEM gear box fluid back in to restore that non-track balance of smoothness and protection... can't wait to get my butter shifting back. I looked online and the best prices I could find were $40/liter plus shipping from Suncoast. Then just for fun I decided to call the local dealer parts department and ask what it would cost after my PCA discount... $34/liter! Very cool to see a reasonable (for Porsche) price and immediate availablity from the dealer who supports my local PCA and I was glad to patronize! Not big dollars by any means, but good to know they are willing to work for my business for OEM parts since I maintain my own fleet. Y'all may consider dointg the same before you hit that online order button!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Good to hear that there are some dealers out there like this. My local dealer is NOT one of them as they absolutely refuse to negotiate on parts pricing, yet they will gladly install the parts I purchase and provide from Suncoast Porsche. Example: Catalytic converter parts cost - local dealer $2815.00 - Suncoast $1656.00. My dealers attitude is that Porsche's cost money, even if you buy a 996 for $40,000 that was once $100,000, we should expect to pay for parts equivalent to a $100,000 car.
Circle Porsche in Long Beach CA has a new parts website with good prices.
