Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A fellow owner who has a 2004 Targa is interested in buying the comfort seats (power w/ lumbar) from my 2003 C4S. Are there any fitment issues? I don't believe that there are. But, is there anything anyone has that is definitive on that? TIA

POST 3Original post

I heard somewhere that the seat cushions on the targa are a tad thinner to provide more headroom, but I don't see a part number difference in the catalog.

Found this in another RL thread - " 996 521 523 00 for non-heated seats, 996 521 525 00 for heated"

The seats will bolt in just fine. I'll dig through my documentation later, but I believe the Targa seat cushions are 10mm lower for the seat bottoms (same as XSU option) and 2mm thinner for the headrests.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
