The tank for 01-05 is much larger and the two are not interchangeable as far as i know. The bigger tank is also harder to extract and install.

Its my track car, not much in there to replace. As far as the engine goes its a almost new FSI 4.0. I backed it into a corner at BIR and its at the frame shop now.
