Hi all - I've been 996 shopping for a few months and have noticed that a few cars have a small **** (and a light?) on the batwing. Any guesses as to what is it for? I assume aftermarket since there are no markings. Check out the listing image below.
That is not OEM, may be something aftermarket, a radar detectors of something else.

Mine came with one of those. It's for a radar detector. I find waze to be a more reliable radar detector so I'll probably change it out someday M
