Connector for ntc engine air temp question...My '99' wiring harness has this abandoned connector laying on top of engine. Is there a sensor this plugs into, or is this a leftover from an earlier model say a 993? TIA for any reply.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looks to me like the connector that is right above the alternator. I'll send a pic of mine later.
If it is that one its for a change over valve. Its part of the vacuum line assembly. U would be the second one here in the last week that found out that a po has reworked the vacuum assembly. Plugs into #18. http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-05ion=108-05
