I'm a 993 owner and fairly green to 996s, but thought I'd post it over here to see if anyone needs an excuse to look at some cool cars this week. My brother is looking at a 996 located in the SF Bay Area right off 101 in San Carlos. He just wants someone objective to give it a quick look before having the dealer drive it to RMG for a proper PPI. Not looking for anything too detailed, just a quick "yes, this looks good enough to continue with a PPI." Anyone in the Bay Area that wants to swing by SF Sports Cars and give this 996 a quick look? The dude has some nice cars, but the only 996 I see is a Turbo. Might want to post in that Forum as well, they might know more about the upgrades. I used to live in the area and don't remember that dealership, I think it's new(er). After reading the owner's notes on the company, I was not aware that Ferrari of SF was factory owned, I thought ALL dealerships in the US had to be franchised (with the current exception of Tesla in more and more states...) Good luck, the cars all look nice.
