Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, Currently trying to see if the car I have is rare at all and if so how rare the spec is. It's a 2004 Carrera 4S Coupe manual in Lapis Blue over Savannah Beige. I came from M cars and it's way easier to find the stats on those. If anyone has any information/where to find, I'd appreciate it.

POST 3Original post

sadly i fear that the information you seek doesn't exist, we would all like to know how rare our car is, be it color or spec, most of the opinions on here about rarity are anecdotal, i do believe Blue cars are pretty unusual and were made in smaller numbers, Black and Silver seem to be the most common.

POST 4Original post

Theres a member here who has one similar to yours that knows more about the color and like Gary said, its hard to tell. I have a Slate C2 thats highly optioned and couldnt find the same info youre looking for.

I can tell you that I have one, but the interior is no longer all Savanna. Savanna Beige with MacThomas Ancient Welsh tartan.

POST 6Original post

As far as Lapis Blue cars go, Savannah or Grey interiors are the most common. Black interior is very rare.

POST 7Original post

Lapis is a very common color. Maybe not super common on the c4s but lots of 996 turbos and a ****load of 986s.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
