has anyone change out a fuel line vent valve on the filler gas line with this part number : 996-201-143-01-OEM reason is that i changed out the fuel pump and after that i tried to put in some gas and the gas will vomit all out so i read some post and it pointed to the fuel line vent valve. what actually this unit does? i did not see any wires connected to the unit and just 2 vacuum lines and a ground. do i need to connect the battery back and start pouring gas?
