Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. POST 2Original post

Is it from a Mk1 or a Mk2? Which model exhaust is it? http://www.cargraphicts.com/en/produ...odels/996-34l/

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm in CA with dead cats and I'm in need of stock (or CARB compliant) replacements. I'm just starting the search...

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes I believe the system is CARB compliant but it is always a good idea to make sure by calling the good folks at sharkwerks five 10-651-0300

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

had a couple of interested parties but nothing has been finalized. I have decided to hold out for OEM system with the FIster hack already done plus cash. Amount of cash dependent on the cost of shipping and condition of your system. Mine has 20k on it. Also the muffler tips are not included in the deal, we would keep whats on our cars and swap just the cans.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Folks, I am relisting my cargraphic exhaust as the Rennlister who was interested in my set up has gone missing. i apologize to people I turned down in the meantime as I thought there was a deal. Oh well, no biggie. I am looking for cash plus Fister D's for my cargraphic exhaust. Amazing sound and quality but I am getting ready to list my c4s for sale and I think aftermarket exhausts are polarizing. Please reply or PM with phone number. I am not into wasting time. Thank you

POST 10Original post

One thing to consider - Fister cans are still QUITE loud. If your goal is to get your car close to stock, the Fisters may not be ideal. I love mine, but the car is loud enough now that I idle down my street as a courtesy to the neighbors...

Thanks for the heads up. I heard the Fister at a Porsche gathering and felt the car should have come from the factory that way. it is more fitting to the heritage and design. You do have a good point and I will consider OEM mufflers as well.

POST 12Original post

Right on - if you've heard the Fisters and like it, that's cool. The "old" Fister mod was like the Gundo hack - connecting the PSE cutout on the muffler so it sounds like the "real" Porsche Sport Exhaust. The current Fister mod is the one that connects the input and output together, permitting unmuffled exhaust. Sounds like you know what's what, but I did want to point out that the Fister mod has changed, so it's possible what you heard was the older, much quieter version.
