Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My neighbor passed me last night in his 599. Those front and rear turn signal lights are bright ! Any way to get that on our cars ?

POST 3Original post

Man, I must be living in the wrong part of the world! Threads about 599's driving down the neighborhood streets, half a dozen Aston DBX's parked at work... LOL!! I guess I could move down to LaJolla and see F and L cars pretty frequently. As to making the lights brighter, there's always a way. I'm an electrical engineer, so now you've got my mind racing on all sorts of ways to do it! But, there's no off-the-shelf dealios that I'm aware of.

POST 4Original post

I would imagine you would have to add some sort of ballast to the taillights in order to safly boost the power. Best bet is to wait until LED technology improves. At some point the light output will actually exceed OEM.

POST 5Original post

Why do you want to fry the cornea of the poor bastard sitting behind you at a light? Anyone else think the LED's on the new Audi's and 997.2's look like X-mas lights?

POST 6Original post

I was behind a new A6 driving to work the other day and it was SHOCKINGLY bright!

yup, the new cars with these ultra bright tail lights can be annoying to other drivers. not so much out on the highway but in town.

POST 8Original post

Way annoying, these super bright lights. I think they make the road more UNsafe, cause I have to look away from them cause they're so bright, thus not keeping my eyes on what's in front of me! And +1 on the Audi's Christmas tree lights!! I said that first thing when the R8 came out. Looks like cheap rope-lights folks string around their tacky front yard Christmas decorations.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They were not annoying just drew your attention. Oh the owner, ever heard of Ross/Abbott labs, similac.
