Ive been hunting for a 996 for quite some time now and come up empty handed. Looking to find a great, reliable (lots of documented work), manual, coupe. Im not super picky (other than condition / reliability), but having a hard time. Would prefer it to be local (Houston) or at least in the state. Ive posted on our local PCA Facebook page, browsed Rennlist, BaT, PCA Market, etc. Let me know if you have a car that may meet these requirements. Budget is +/-$40k. HUGE plus for aerokit car. Thanks so much!!!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

You may have luck going to your local PCA coffee meeting and just asking around. (old fogies don't always look at the facebook pages) $40k for a well sorted car seems a reasonable budget for a C2/C4, but a nice C4S may be hard to find at that price these days. Good luck.
I strongly recommend you spread your wings and fly across the country (venture west, friend, and find a land with no rust.) It will be a slog but you will find your car much quicker. Just ask me - I flew to pick mine up. Edit: START ON THE INTERNET DON'T JUST START FLYING PLACES THAT WILL ADD UP. Ok thanks.
