Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been reading (and learning) with great interest to the vast knowledge found here on this great forum. I am ecstatic to be taking delivery of a 40th anniversary 996 tomorrow. This will be the 2nd 996 that I have owned and am excited to own the 40th ann. model. Absolute beauty of a car, and for the most part, no mods. A few performance mods and lowered a bit, but one's I would have done myself it were completely stock. I look forward to years of P car ownership again and getting to know the fine folks here. Here are a couple of pics prior to bringing her home. A FLA car, to remain a FLA car! Regards...Joe

Thank you all for the kind words! Very glad to have her home! It's at 53K miles. Near pristine condition. Previous owner took real good care of her! As will I! I didn't get the luggage! Must be some kinda cool!

Joe - welcome to Rennlist! Your car was a big hit on the 40th Facebook page, as I'm sure you saw. You probably read it already but this thread is where the 40th guys generally hang out: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...nd-faq-39.html Might be worth checking in there, too. Ted
