I pulled my cdr-220 out because it was not working. The fuse on the back isn't blown. so I really have no idea now. My car has a basic stereo as far as I know. It has a small black amp mount in the middle of the frunk and the DSP thing. There are only 2 plugs connected to the radio when I pulled it. the big black plug and the antenna plug. I have this small yellow plug that was not connected. I am not sure what's for. I searched on RL and the radio other owners have are with more plugs and seem more complicated. The research suggests the yellow plug is for CD changer which my car doesn't have. My plan is to install a double din android head unit. Not crazy about sounds. as long as It can drive the speakers, it will be fine. Could you guys help to identify the yellow plug? I assume the black plug is power and speakers? WsGHufN.jpg

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The yellow needs to be plugged in as seen in this pic. The blue in the pic is for a CD changer or Aux in.
