Hi Everyone, For those that have already done the conversion, when you cut the rear quarter for the flare/wheel clearance, were there two sheets of body panels that you had to get re-welded? Similar to that of the BRZ/FRS (Rocket Bunny etc) builds like this: Or is it like the 993 body where there's only one panel of body and once it's cut, you don't need to fully reweld the quarter (like an RWB build) Oh and I'm not asking for your opinions on if I should do the widebody or not, or if you think it's stupid etc. You're more than welcome to place those in here but I personally wont care.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Oh also, does anyone know if SharkWerks still offers these front flares?!
Pretty sure you can get those bolt on flares off eBay.
I've already ordered the rears and have some custom fronts but those SharkWerks will flow much better with the rears I just ordered. I haven't been able to find the SharkWerks flares on ebay. Also, whiteout, I just wanted to say your LS swap was incredible. I'm planning on following your write-ups (especially the cooling stuff) next year when I can slowly start ordering the renegade parts
I don't remember the name of the company that makes the widebody pictured, just saw it listed on eBay. I'm sure if you call Sharkwerks they will be able to point you in the right direction for the kit. Here is a similar widebody on a C4S: CFFDCBCD-16A4-408B-AD1C-7BBFB91F58C8_zpsktzssyfq.jpg Thanks! If you have any LS swap questions, feel free to message me.
Apreciate the offer for the LS assistance. I'll definitely be in touch when the time comes around. As for the car, I know the owner, ACE and i bought the same rear flares to put on my C2. I really like the mk1 front which is why I'm not doing the entire kit that he has but looking for the sharkwerks fronts.
The Sharkwerks doesn't really seem to flare out that much and would seem like it's more for show or only 5-10mm max poke past the standard fenders.
My current custom front over fender flare will give me an extra 1.7" on both sides of the car, however, with the new rear setup, I'm hesitant on how it'll look. Waiting on the new rears to get in sometime next week.
Well the front flares are RUF's and are no longer produced. Damnit.
You can put those AIR rear over fenders on a 996 c2? Does it involve the turbo air duct?
What does the front flare gain you? The biggest hurdle in my experience has been clearing the front radiator and rear portion of the wheel well. Even for looks, if you can't move the wheel out the flare won't look too hot, no? If you figured that part out Id love to know what you did...
