Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

28 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Any members near Placentia, CA for a rennfax on a Cayman S?

POST 2Original post

Gator, I'm not near but can try to get out there. Can you give more details?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I will send ya PM. Thanks Rubik!

POST 4Original post

Gator, I'm not anywhere near there. But I do own a 996TT. So, you know . . . there's that.

POST 6Original post

I live next to Placentia. Happy to help but I don't know what a rennfax is.

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 12611194

Perfect! Rennfax is going out there and physically looking at the car closely with scrutiny. Can you do that for Gator? He's one of the good boys here.

POST 8Original post

I can but I am back in town Friday. Is that ok or too late.

POST 9Original post

If it was closer to San Diego I'd be happy to do it. Screw that, any excuse to drive my Porsche is a good reason. If you can't find anyone closer, Ill go

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks JG, I will let ya know!

POST 11Original post

Not sure if people know this, but kcattorney once flew a plane.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

But does he own one? Hell, I'm a lowly C2 owner and I own a plane. You would think that a 996TT owner would have at least a G5 sitting in his backyard hanger.

POST 13Original post

I'm actually part owner of the plane he used to fly. Small world right?

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The aviation world is indeed small.

POST 15Original post

I have an hour as PIC in a 747 all the rest is PA161, C150/152/172 and a few others.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I lumber around in a PA-151. It can't compare to a 747 but I did get passed by a parakeet once. So I have that going for me.

POST 17Original post

I was once qualified to drop nuclear weapons. Now I have a hard time working the copy machine.

You are a lying liar who lies. You can't work a copy machine at all.

POST 19Original post

Hopefully not due to him crashing it on you're property!

POST 20Original post

That joke appears to have gone way over people's heads. Maybe TT owner kcattorney, not sure you know that, was flying the joke.

POST 21Original post

Quotes source post: 12612417

I just got the joke. Now I am going to give that damn copy machine another go. Nice signature DTM. Glad to see at least you and Gator have your priorities straight.

POST 22Original post

Quotes source post: 12612247

In fairness, it was in the Flying Tigers full motion simulator. It was legal logable time. Nothing cooler than landing a 747 with the gear up and the after you are stopped, hit the gear switch and it just raises up. If your not buckled in tight, it will throw you out of the seat

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Shout out to goin2drt for taking time to look at that Cayman for me today! Thanks to Rubic and JayG for the offers to assist. We can be a dysfunctional group but we step up when called. Now, when I say dysfunctional, that doesn't include KCAttorney because he now owns a 996TT.

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

But of course, my good man.

POST 27Original post

Q: How do you know someone is a pilot? A: Don't worry, he'll tell you. Truly yours, another pilot

Its easy, just ask them what is the definition of a good landing If they say One you walk away from, then you know
