Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Maybe this has been done already but googling it didn't turn up anything. I was looking at the interior parts diagram the other day and noticed a trim piece(22) that I hadn't seen before. Turns out it's for the manual HVAC controls, but it got me thinking you could put some gauges in there for oil temp and accurate coolant, and for giggles do a "Sport Chrono" clock in the center opening. The recirc button hole would have to be addressed, but maybe it could somehow work with the chrono or become a spoiler or PSE switch. https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/o...01c?origin=pla

I want those AC controls! If you do add gauges look at Speedhut , I used them in a 280Z build and they are really nice and totally customizable. Very thin as well.

The Porsche part is only $8, though no idea if the diameter are the right size.

Me too...where do I buy ?

POST 7Original post

If you want manual controls because you want to save weight, the manual controls and airbox actually weight more than the Climatronic in the US models.

Or get this https://www.plxdevices.com/MultiGaug...7346002931.htm for vacuum and wideband and an android auto head unit. Then with Torque you can see everything else with a bluetooth obdII adapter.

Me too, but after a little searching, it doesn't seem to be a plug & play mod.
