Hi Folks, its been a very long time since I last posted but Im back online and need some assistance... I have the opportunity to pickup a complete set of calipers and rotors, front and rear, from an 02 GT3 Cup car. I want to install these on my 99 996. Can anyone tell me if the pickup points in the upright are the same or if there are adapters available to make the conversion? The car already runs 19 wheels and a Moton suspension set up for track use, Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The caliper bolt spacing is different. 996 C2 is 130mm and the GT3 is 142mm. There isn't an adapter plate solution out there that I'm aware of (I design brake adapters for the 996 myself). You need the uprights (wheel carriers) from a GT3 to make this work.
