Can anyone tell me if the back seat from a 2000 996 are the same in a coupe, and cabrio? I have set, and I have a guy from here that can use them in his cab, if they fit. Or, can anyone point me in the right direction so I might be able to research for myself? TIA Greg.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Coupe is different than cabrio rear seat wise
Different part numbers. See pages 487-492 for coupe/targa and 493-497 for cabrios. (seat backs), Seat cushions start at 498-500 for coupes and 501-509 for cabrios. https://www.porsche.com/all/media/pd...96_KATALOG.pdf
Thanks for the replies. @Z driver, thanks for the link to the PET, I have a link for the 944 I had, but my limited computer skills did not let me find it for the 996. Can you point me in the right direction to find the 2000 996 edition? Thanks, Greg ETA, I didn't know the PET covered all years of the 996
Greg, You're welcome. That link covers all 996s. If you look at the "Remarks" column you'll see the applicable year. Scroll to Page 7 for a good example. You'll see replacement engine part numbers for 99, 00-01, 02, 03, and 04, or page 557-560 for the 996.1 headlights and page 562 for the 996.2 headlights. So that one catalog covers the whole gamut. If you see something like "01 - " or "03 - " with no second number it just means it carried from then until the end of the production run. Keep in mind, some early part numbers may have been superseded by later part numbers if parts were improved or updated over the years. I'm much more familiar with the 928 PET since I've had that car for almost 12 years. I'm still fairly new to the 996 world (3 years). Sometime you may look up a part number and try to order it from Suncoast or some other website and you'll see a later part number pop up in the order - I've experienced that with 928 parts.
I’m trying to get rid of my rear seats from a cab if your buddy needs them!

I'm fairly sure he responded to your marketplace ad, IIRC your seats are grey, he's looking for black. Thanks anyway.
