Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

how many "shocks" that keep the engine cover open, do you have? I just happened to look yesterday and saw only one, on the passenger side...if i'm supposed to have two, the driver's side was unscrewed from the threaded mounts that are there.....just thought one shock was unusual

POST 2Original post

One for a 2002 C2, which is what I own/have. If you provided year and model for your car we could be more helpful...

POST 5Original post

One is stock on the C2. Not sure if any models have two though. The stock hinges and lid allow the addition of a second on the drivers side. I've got a GT3 wing and deck lid installed and one strut holds it up just fine.

POST 7Original post

One on the C2. Look at the threaded holes at the other side, they will lok intact, so it was nver usd on yourncar.
