Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I once had an issue with the rear spoiler staying up after going over 90. Went back out and did it 90 again and spoiler went back down and performed as normal. Now the spoiler is up and will not go back down. Ive tried high speed passes and lubed the arms. If I hit the button by fuses, it does down about and inch and it just stops. Is this a sign of a failing motor? I do not want to break any gear teeth by trying To force it or multiple attempts.

I'm doing great! I'm a covid-19 survivor... I'm counting my blessings! RE: your spoiler issue.... You might have issues with the actual lift motors or specifically the gears inside the shafts. Both of mine were acting weird and so I added some lubrication and they started working again. My loose theory is water ingress causes the lube to wash out and in turn, causes resistance on the spoiler lift. But don't quote me! I took mine all apart. Was a royal PITA, but I got it done.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No I do not. That would be really odd.

It is odd. If it hadn't happened to me, would not have believed. Pulled a high quality HID kit off the car, never got another spoiler error or the grinding noises.
