Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I mean the conversion types (WP VINs) done in the USA.. Were they just some add on parts or was real engine work done ie cams? Any experiences with the defunct Dallas operation? Are these special or rare cars/ any numbers out there? eye candy:

POST 2Original post

Nice thread here on them https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...t-996-a-3.html

Here is the most comprehensive description I have found about the 2001 Ruf RGT from Sloan Motor Cars. The 996.1 GT3 engine was modified by Ruf to produce 385 HP. Not each item is applicable to all RGTs. As far as I know, all 17 were W09 vehicles (Ruf VIN), and there were no Ruf authorized conversions with WP VINs.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
