Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

The 996 crowd is held in such high esteem that we're seen as the authoritative source on all things Porsche.
wannabees!
They all wanna hang with the "in" crowd.
They really need to post in their own forums so we can get back talking mostly about IMS bearings and motor oil, with the occasional 'how much is this beat to crap 996 worth ? thread mixed in. Oh wait... I sold my 996. Do I have to kick myself out? Hope not, the Cayman forum is mind-numbingly boringl (with the sole exception of the " Does anyone need a Cayman race car built? " thread...)
Whatever happened to that thread about the (guy) that couldnt decide about getting a 996tt or 997tt. As they are much cheaper to maitain then a Ferrari.
Dang! I never spotted the NA in the forum title. Opticians appointment booked for tomorrow.
I think they are all just sensing my deep desire to get a 996TT (to really **** off my wife), so they are posting turbo stuff here to torment me. That, or they heard about our frequent boobie threads.
^^ If that 's your wife, I wouldn't want to **** her off either.
996 has always been a motley crue. DE guy, dIY guys, wannabes, enthusiasts, dreamers, punks, retirees, tuners, boozers, losers, racers, plumbers, connoisseurs, lecturers, world travelers , mercenaries, and hardcore 911 junkies. Boost forum can't hang.

what this guy said ^^
996 Forum has always been lively, IMS, engine tweaks, aerokits, wheels, headlight enhancements... speaking of enhancements I do like boobie pics.
Stan - Were you at Porsche Palooza? If so, how was it? We had a good turn out Saturday morning even with the Palooza guys gone.
