Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone have what the radiator exits look like on these cars. mine are both missing and I haven't been able to exactly find new ones. Plus I would rather try and make some out of CF. Guess it matters as to the shape and size of the exit hole.

I guess the answer is that there is no ducting as "standard" or OEM for the 996. The ducting in the pic above is a DIY. If you track the car and often it's a good idea.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Awesome lots to read. After laying under the car for an extended stay last night I have more missing than originally thought. part of the passenger side wheel well liner up front at the radiator exit is busted and gone (leading edge). These cars are so dang cool when you start studying the aero the Factory designed.

POST 5Original post

I just bought new wheel wells for my 40th. The c4s/turbo/40th front bumper has better airflow but autocross has been cruel to them. Fortunately the new ones come with all the missing rubber bits preinstalled.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
