Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am going to purchase some square tubing to build a jacking hoist bar for each side of my car. I had measured and written down the information a few weeks back and can no longer put my finger on it. I need to know the length from jack hole to jack hole one each side of the car. Im sure they are the both for each side and the tubing will be a few inches longer that then jack holes so exact measurements t would be good but not completely necessary just so long as the are measured from then back furthest point and the front furthest point I will know what length of tubing to have cut. I was told a couple of hours lead time so I have two hours. Id really appreciate a hand with this. Thank you in advance. ps if you have a lift and seeing a 996 measured with tape in hand would be helpful. This forum is the best tool a Porsche owner can have.

POST 2Original post

I just measured at roughly 56" or about 142.5 cm. This is from the edge of the front jackpoint towards the front wheel, to the edge of the rear jackpoint towards the rear wheel.
