Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Started to replace parts on the car today........ The Misha wing fitment was darn near perfect. What you see in the pictures are not even bolted down. The TA bumper (not being made by Misha) is not the greatest. We finally made the correct modifications that it looks good. A bit more fitting tomorrow then off to paint!!!

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

More pictures......Oh the Bloody GORE!

POST 6Original post

Yah I can't recall the rule word for word but the whole wing isn't showing in the picture. I know its at least a foul teasing like that.

POST 7Original post

They call it a "wing tease". Men get pretty irritated with that kind of move As in, look at that showing all that tail and for what? A glimpse? What a wing tease.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

HEHE. Well I was smoothing the underside of the spoiler for paint. I will try to get another shot with it on................. Just fer youz guyz

POST 10Original post

Should look killer...what front lip did you go with?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think I am going lipless. It will be pretty low as it is. But I will see.

POST 15Original post

+1 for white techarts, will look mean as hell

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Gregg I am not sure. What ya have in mind?

POST 17Original post

Are you doing the sideskirts and rear pieces as well to balance out the very aggressive front? Thanks for the photos!

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just the rear GT2 spoiler. All the lower portions are going to be white as well.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Me No Liar Here is the Spoiler

POST 23Original post

Awesome! I went on to the designers website and figured out that was the one you were getting. Since the wing is upside down do you get lift?

POST 28Original post

I do like it. I wonder how it would look on a c2?

Is that towel stock?

POST 31Original post

thats my rear wiper test fitting the GT2 wing was something I wish went better... it was a bit big on a C2 and sparked an entire string of long running jokes and wise cracks - it really is just too big on a NB and a year later I saw one on a C2 and had to laugh.... when I bought it I was SOOO excited - turned out I was a bit off track... learned to ask THEN buy ---- OK thats a lie, but at least I know ask THEN buy is something I "could" do

POST 32Original post

Yeah, the Indian guy at 7-eleven mentioned those threads about you and the wing. I just wonder if there is one that can fit a c2 for some downforce.

I think its misha911 which does have 996 wings. I'm wondering about the drag since the 996 doesn't really have the power of a GT. 100mph isn't a tough barrier but getting up to near 200 and over is a brick wall even with streamlining. I'd hope the wing is low drag catching just downforce winds over the roof.

POST 34Original post

I was trying to get all four off the ground.....downforce???

POST 35 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey Ed, was that a real GT2 wing? I tend to agree with you about the size on a NB car but the Misha wing sees a bit smaller that a "stock" GT2 spoiler
