Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey folks can someone hep me identify what part this is? I removed my driver front wheel today and saw this broken part about 3 inches behind the rotor. It looks like some type of actuator as it bends at two elbows. Looks like it was mounted on one end to frame support (thats where it cracked off) and the other to an electrical connector. Thanks

POST 2Original post

looks like Litronic headlight adjustment sensor arm. Turn on headlights and one won't self adjust.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you I will try that and I am also going to look on the other side. I am surprised there are no dash lights? I have the car 2 years and never noticed......oh well I guess its not that important

POST 4Original post

one in the front and one in the rear to measure "level" for the headlights. Mounts to the control arm. Push the pin out the bottom, in the center of the broken mount pic 2, And get a new mount.
