As some of you know, I wrecked my beautiful 99 aero at last year's Road Atlanta PCA race. Well, after a year and a major hand injury, I'm back on the road. It's not pretty, but it is running well. Last summer I bought a roller with plans to get right back on the track. About the only thing left from the previous car was a very low mile crate engine. I even had to buy a new cats and a right side header, as they were bent. Things always take longer than planned, so here we are. I'm planning to drive the car on the street for the rest of the year and do a few DE days. Over the holidays, I'll tear it down and install my race suspension and safety equipment. Hopefully be back on the track for real early next year.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The car isn't very photogenic right now, but you can see my first project sitting in the second picture...
WTG !! least it has sport seats and drives! !
How are you planning to fix that cracked front Polyurethane bumper?
Congrats on getting back in the game....and get those MK1 parts on there asap!!!
Get some mufflers on that thing before I call the cops!
Well, stock bumpers can be reapaired, but don't hold up well. This will be a race car not a concours car, so I'm not going to get too worked up if it's not perfect. Erik, I'm sure the car has mufflers, it passed inspection yesterday.
Sure it passed.
