Hello there, I have a 1999 C4 and need front brakes. I dont think Ill ever put it on the track but I do like to drive aggressively. Any suggestions for brands of pads and rotors? Pelican? Any other stores?

Brembo rotors and Akebono pads are a great street setup
Rock Auto carries a couple of the premium brands of rotors.. If it helps..
I'll second Rockauto. I recently bought pagid coated rotors, akebono euro pads, shims, hardware kits, bleeder, wear sensors, permatex, a lisle piston compressor, basically everything you need on all 4 corners, for just over 600.00. hth
Oh snd they deliver crazy fast a lot of the time.. I had my rotors in like 3 days.. Ordered on a Friday AM got them on Monday.. I was stunned .. Not everything does that but I also like there shipping setup, it says where stuff is coming from and what cost deltas are for different shipping points.

Thank you all!
The HPS 5.0's have been good for me for my street driven 986 and 996's. Paired with the Sebro slotted & coated rotors. I would not track the 5.0's (or any street pad), but luckily the calipers on the 996 make changing brake pads a half an hour affair even without a lift. --Aaron https://knsbrakes.com/products/car/1.../_All+Products
Thanks for the info Aaron, came here looking for this exact advice and just placed an order from you!
since your not tracking just get some Zebro rotors and Akebono pads.. plenty for the street and very low dust.
