Hi there Just bought a 996 C2 2002 as my first water-cooled after 25 years with 7 air-cooled 911s. Extremely well kept car with all records, documents, invoices and stamps. Previous owner swithed to upgraded IMS, new Konis adjustable and new upgraded AOS which made me comfortable with the deal. Other than that just plain beautiful, basalt metallic with black interior. Manual, sunroof, HR springs, Pilot sport tires, 74000km (45k miles). Can still go back to earlier generation cars at some point, but now I do enjoy this car and look forward. An excellent machine. Every new generation is better than the previous for sure. Depreciation..yes, less nostalgia, noise, heat, smell yes. Better performance, oh yes. So now I have moved to this forum, live and learn. And hopefully contribute. I know I have an old username..... Will upload photo later, had problems with the rennlist app

Very nice group of cars. I went air to water too. Sold my 84 Targa and just bought an 02 last week. I miss my 84 and the feeling I got driving it but what a difference in modern amenities of the 996.
