Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Selling a set of NIB Votgland lowering springs. Iordered these for my '99 C2, but was sent springs for a C4 or Turbo. These springs are 100% made in Germany and are TuV approved. According to Votgland, they lower the car approximately 1.2inches overall. I paid around $275 for these, but since Votgland has agreed to send me replacements; I can make someone a reasonable deal, or possible trades. Parts needed: Aftermarket lower front lip for 996.1 Aftermarket adjustable suspension components New OE quality suspension components

POST 2Original post

Those don't look like front springs to me. What is the model number?

POST 3Original post

Looks like a set of Vogtland (see the spelling?...probably autocorrect did its thing, right) springs for a 964 or 993 tbh. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vogtland

You may be correct. They are all marked "rear", but I was assured by Vogtland, that they are correct for the kit. I assured them, that they are not correct for my '99 C2, or for the listing they posted. I'm not sure the in differences in suspension, between the c2, c4, c4s/turbo models. I'm just listing them for sale, as I don't need them. The part numbers are: 950701 & 950704, if that helps 🤷‍♂️
