Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This was soooo much fun! Went to a Porsche dealer organized event this past Wednesday at Circuit Mont Tremblant north of Montreal. The day was organized for various autocross events in the morning and then in the afternoon there were 3 sessions of multiple laps each around this former Formula 1 track with a certified instructor sitting beside you and telling you exactly how to approach the corners, what gear to be in, how much to brake, hitting the apex correctly, etc.. Never did this before in my own car and it was an amazing fun day and I have a total new respect for a car, in my case a car more than 15 years old, that you could almost hear her saying "push me a little more, I've got more to give". What amazing cars these are.

I think this may be a form of P-car sickness, but I am not sure. Can you take anything for it?

By the way.....118000 miles and original IMS.

Warning... this can become very addictive!

POST 6Original post

Many many more days at the track is the only indicated Rx. But beware, you can easily become addicted to this medication

Welcome to the world of High Performance Driver Education. The only know cure is seat time.

POST 9Original post

Ha, be careful. I started in a Boxster S, bought a 911 sc, then a 911 sc track monster, then a formula vee race car and started vintage racing and doing endurance events with Chumpcar. Looking to get back into DE's a bit as an instructor in my C4S. In fact I'm instructing on Wednesday :-)

POST 10Original post

Great pics. Would love to have you ride along with me sometime. Will be at the Ridge Sept 4 and 5. Any chance you will be there?

POST 11Original post

Wow That must be a nice day in Tremblant and I live 25 minutes away. Glad you got to push your car a bit

POST 12Original post

Thanks, it has been tons of fun. I'd love to do a ride along in well prepped C4S. I normally am racing in Portland that weekend but this year am travelling to cycle in Italy. I love the Ridge, raced there in 2012 and look forward to returning.
