I am in need of some advice. I am considering selling my 40th anniversary. It has 8000 miles (yes, 8000) and is in pristine condition. I purchased a 50th anniversary and elected to keep the 40th. As a result, I rarely drive it. I love the idea of having the beginnings of a collection for the future but not sure of it makes sense to do it now. What do you think that the value of the 40th will do in the next 5-10 years? Do you know of any websites that provide historical trends of car values? Thanks

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have not found any websites to address the future values of P cars. If you don't drive it, sell it. Those $'s could likely be re-deployed into better yielding assets. The market for 40th AEs is a little soft; although they are tremendous cars for the $. Best of luck.
I plan to drive mine as long as I can. That is priceless.
Wait 10 years and get the 60th...that's a nice collection ! 40 AE owners are particular about their cars, and since value is about supply and demand, I don't see the supply "shrinking" as they are generally better cared for than others. What I like about the 40 AE is that it is truly a special edition. The engine upgrades and other features make it a unique pcar..unlike the millennium or more recent "black" additions that are generally more cosmetic IMO. At 8000 miles it is probably concourse quality, keep it and take it to a shows and start to pile up some trophies. man, I wish I had your problems...
