Anybody have an idea what the temperature inside the frunk is like? I've got a ~4 hour road trip tomorrow and am responsible for bringing the adult beverages. Obviously I'm not expecting the beers / wine to be chilled, but will they roast in there? Outdoor conditions likely mid-70s and sunny. The question is whether the temp inside will be like the ambient temps or if the sun will heat it up like an oven?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I picked up cold beer this week and drove 44 min in 100 degree heat -black car - frunk was very hot to touch but beer was still cold when I arrived ... I was surprised
I think it depends on whether you have an AWD differential below the frunk. My C4 produces quite a bit of heat and I would not put cold groceries in the frunk for more than about 20 minutes. After an hour of driving I have noticed the contents of the frunk to be warm. I have not looked real closely at the proximity, but heat and airflow from the radiators is adjacent to the frunk and especially in high ambient temperatures the frunk could be exposed to a lot of heat from this as well.

Get a cheap styrofoam 711 cooler. I haul stuff in my C4S frunk all the time.
Or put them in the back seat with AC in the 60s and freeze your nuts off haha.
Too late for new advice now. How did it go? The radiators (and the sun) will pump some heat into the frunk, but it's not as bad as a Boxster's rear trunk.
