Hi everyone, I have a defective headlight switch. It use to work intermittently. I could switch on my low beams and everything else, now only fog lights and high beams work. So I need to replace this part. Does anyone know how to replace this switch and where I could purchase it. Thanks for your advice. Regards Foucauld ps: Sorry if it is not posted under the proper section but I could not figure out how to post it under the DIY section.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I don't have the pdf files ripped yet and converted to jpg's - but here's a screen grab of the two pages from the manual for the main headlight switch removal for 996's. http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...rent=Page1.jpg http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...rent=Page2.jpg You didn't say year or model of 996 but here's a page or two from Pelican (A Rennlist Sponsor I might add). Looks like $115 Part detail. http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...30%35%29%20%20 Full page: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg1.htm#item1
