After carefully reviewing all IMSB threads here and everywhere else on the internet, I have a harebrained theory that I want to fly here and, if there's the slightest vague trend, use as fact to further obfuscate any legitimate information about the IMS bearing. My suspicion is that people who wear briefs are probably too "tight" when it comes to maintenance, and that people who wear boxers are "loose" and sloppy about performing maintenance. I believe we'll find that people who wear boxer briefs have the lowest instance of IMSB failure. In order to create the highest likelihood of pseudo data, please ONLY answer the poll if your IMSB has not failed and you wear boxer briefs. The other two poll options are there to provide the appearance of neutrality - but once I have accumulated the data I want, I will lock the thread after editing this text. Please do not respond to this thread if you do not agree with my theory, and do not dare fill out the poll with any response other than "boxer briefs." Any deviation from this plan is grounds for me to lock this thread, call you all ghey, and go back to 4chan where I'm truly appreciated.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I can't see the poll.
Was that a misprint. Do you mean to say " Boxster Briefs "?
No, Boxster briefs have a much smaller displacement than 996 Boxer briefs, and I believe may be too snug for the purposes of this discussion.
As of 10:41AM, 100% of respondents have indicated "Boxer briefs" - it would appear that my hypothesis is fact!
I like my drive shaft secured when in storage.
Not ghey but some may think I'm metrosexual. Briefs and my RMS(maybe IMS) has been leaking for over two years and I still sleep like a baby. I like Freeballin...
Yep - poll fail because no freeball option.
In before lock.
NO NO NO YOU CAN'T PICK SOMETHING NOT IN THE POLL DAMMIT
