Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

While I don't have his experience with other P-cars. I think he is spot on about the 996. Light, responsive, fairly reliable(if weak points addressed) and provides usable fun on the street if you behave yourself. Not sure where he drives to get 7,000 rpm in third gear without risking arrest though! I barely get beyond third gear any where except the interstate! I put it in sixth once just to make sure the gear exists!
Nice read! Reminded me I needed to join PCA.

The magazine alone is worth the price of membership.

Agreed. It has been well worth it IMO. The hospitality tent at Lime Rock Park and local cruise days have also been a good time. I am now a member of two regional clubs and their club magazines have also been well worth the small membership fee to PCA.
I like the PCA and I think it's well worth the money. My local chapter also produces a magazine with interesting stuff too. And you damn well know that if I ever sell the car, I'll leave that PCA sticker on it for prospective buyers to see whether I'm a paid up member or not.
PCA magazine worth it totally and I keep membership because of that but I miss the friendship and teck-talk I had with club members back when I owned my old Toyota... Local cruise days would be great!
