Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I never worked on a MacPherson strut car before. Is this strut blown? The strut mount was broken and when replacing it I found this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwSv...zr_WX42aVyJPtI I couldn't tell you if the car drove like it had a bad strut between the broken mount and multiple worn ball joints.

POST 2Original post

Just looks used to me. No wetness at the shaft seal and has resistance in and out. I would ptobably run it.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looked at the rear and found p.o. had put B6 Bilstein on the rear at some point, so I went ahead and ordered B6 for the front since I have to pay someone else to do alignments anyway. Another week.....
