When ever I do a search for LED lights on various website looking for exterior or interior LED replacement bulbs there are two options for almost every bulb. one option is with CAN bus and one is without CAN bus. Can someone elaborate on the CAN bus and what lights are connected to it and what it does? I search for "CAN bus" here and found nothing...

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

http://www.skeenway.com/auto-led-bul...led-light.html Basically a built-in resistor connected in parallel with the LED bulb to generate similar load as the incandescent version to fool the computer that the bulb is just a regular non-LED bulb.
Can bus is the data link between the ECUs and sensors, lights, OBD and everything electrical in the car. Kind of like USB between your PC, mouse, keyboard, camera.
