Hi upon rerouting my climate control wiring from top dash slot to lower slot on console area, I find the wiring harness is too short to connect to the unit in that slot. It barely protrudes through the metal pass through behind the console. Is this apparently short wiring unique to the mk1 (MY1999), as I�ve seen plenty of other successes with this rearrangement of the climate control unit? Any solutions for this? thanks
I had to move it on my 99 to install the PCCM + but it was close but the wiring was long enough. I remember thinking the same thing and tried some different routes before it reached. Joey
Same. I moved mine from the original position to the bottom cubby. I thought the same thing, but finally found the path to make it work. Good luck!
