Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I believe my newly obtained 2004 C4S's option code sticker was written on with an ink pen either at factory or dealership. Is this common? And what does "WL #4" mean? It is a sacred piece of Porsche information and I find it surprising how individuals would write on these and window stickers, etc.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now I feel stupid! Is that where they usually write it? And I wish my 84 944 wouldve had this before I had to drill them off.

POST 4Original post

When I worked for VW in the 1980's we would write the radio code on the option sticker.

POST 6Original post

I had to call the dealership for the radio code. They suggested i write it on the option sticker
