Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just bought myself a 996 from 2003 with original Porsche PCM-system. The car has no Cd-changer in the front luggage compartment, just an ordinary single player in the coupe. When I tried to put in a Cd-disc today, the player wouldnt take the disc until I pressed out the Navi-disc inside the unit. Isnt it possible to play a Cd without having to exit the Navi-disc??? Makes no sense to me at all 🧐

POST 2Original post

It loads the navigation info from the CD when the navi CD is inserted. The navi CD can be ejected and music CD's can be played afterwards. If the navi CD needs to be reinserted a message will appear.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
