I think I posted this in the wrong forum so here I go again.... I have a 1999 Carerra convertible and I need a few parts. First, there's a strap that has a spring in the center of it that (I think) goes from side to side. Mine broke (don't know how) and I'd like to replace it. Where, besides a dealer, do I get this part? Also, the switch in the parking brake that works to tell the top it can go up or down. I need that too. If you know any websites, please let me know. Thanks

Jay, Did you ever find the tension strap that goes from side to side? Are you talking about a strap that is sewed onto the left and right edges of the top and goes across the entire roof of the car? I'm having some issues with that strap. I think the elasticity of mine is shot.
