The master clutch cilinder of my 996 shows leakage and the clutch does not work. I ordered a replacement and meanwhile am looking for and instruction video to help simplify the replacement. Unfortunately i did not find anything. Does anyone have a link to a video or an excerpt of a manual to help me?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm dealing with a spongy clutch and am having similar problems finding direction. Here's the best I found so far from Wayne Dempsey (its also in the Projects book): https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...Hydraulics.htm I plan on bleeding, then trying a new slave, which looks to be a PITA even though this write up says its easy.
Hi Mike, Thank you for sending the replacement procedure. This really helps. Slave cilinder is o.k. in my car. No leakage detected. This would be very easy to replace. A straight forward job that is easily accessible and can be done quickly. The master cilinder in my car shows little air bubbles when compressed and the piston has got an oily surface. So that is where the air gets into the system and causes the pressure drop. As soon as the part arrives I will replace it. If I can be of further help to you. Let me know
