Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey everyone, I've got the OEM car cover with the Porsche logo on the front, but it's fairly tight and a bit of a pain to take on and off. Anyone have good recommendations for a loose car cover for the garage just to keep the dust off? Thanks! Chris

POST 2Original post

You can get an indoor cover. Companies like coverking make much better fit cover than Porsche oem. Oem covers are often poor fitting or have poor contructions

Here's what I've got right now:

POST 4Original post

Another vote for CoverKing. Excellent product, fits well. I have two of them.

POST 5Original post

I have a car cover that came with my car. Never plan on using it and it seems to be brand new. looks like one of them high end spiffy ones.

I disagree. I've had 3 different OEM covers and they all fit like a glove. You can't get a more exact fit as it's specifically made for your model. OP wants the opposite of fitting like a glove with some give or looseness to it which any generic cover can do. Just for indoor dust protection, I've used one of those generic covers from Menards in the past with no issues. Later compared it to the more expensive brand name car cover and found the material to be the same. I'm not talking about the brand name ones with the tri-layers but the single layer versions which is all you need for dust protection.

Tri-layers... what a noob.

Lol, actually tried the 5 layer for one of my beaters. What a joke! Next, gonna swap my GT3 coilovers for one of those fancy 36 position adjustable units.
