Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whats up guys. Would anyone be interested in trading front bumpers? Im looking for a Aerokit Front Bumper (996). I have the fiberwerks GTR front bumper on my car that I will like to switch out.

POST 2Original post

Good luck with that! It took a few years for one to come up for sale, but thanks to Dharn55, I'm now the proud owner of one. New ones are available, but uber expensive.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yea hopefully something comes up.

POST 4Original post

I was wondering about the quality of the getty design FRP aero front bumper. I know the duraflex one has the reputation of being poop, but both getty and gt-racing have them and their quality is usually pretty good. They are both around $1200, but that is less than half of what a new one from Porsche is. ?????

Is the duraflex one garbage?

Yes if you do a search on here for them you will find most people throw them out because they are so ill fitting. However the racers seem to use them some FRP GT3 front bumper all the time, where do they get them from? I am guessing either Getty or GT-Racing. Would be nice to hear from someone with experience with either one.

Sorry bro. The MK1 aero bumper cost. Especially if it is OEM..

POST 11Original post

If that's a true MK1 OEM GT3 front bumper that's a really good deal. New they're over $3K.

I feel you. I know these parts are not cheap. Im looking to sell my car thats why im not looking to spend more money on this project. But I will like to see it with a GT3 bumper before it sells one day.
