I am looking for a place to mount my chasecam and traqmate boxes. They are both small and very light. Today I was looking for some switched power so I opened up the side of the front console and found the power, and also plenty of space in there. So I wonder if I could velcro my chasecam and traqmate on top of the airbag sensor. See picture below (not my car) the box with the orange label is the airbag sensor. I have no idea how sensitive is this sensor so I am a bit worried about mounting something on top, if somebody has information about this, I am interesed. If not I think I'll try to stick those boxes somewhere in there but stay away from the airbag sensor unless I get more info about it.
