My muffler tips are below my bumper. The passenger side of the bumper has cracked and melted a bit. Is there such a thing as an extended or extra long muffler tip so I can extend the exhaust to be even with the bumper?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A picture would be very helpful. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust?
Yikes, that doesn't look right. I can't imagine the exhaust being that hot that it melted your bumper. Weird.
Obviously something is not right with that setup. Now seeing the pictures, the exhaust tips are just too far tucked under the bumper. Wonder why that is? I think any competent exhaust shop could remove the tip and weld on an extension so the tip sits outside the bumper. My two cents....
Looks to me that the factory tip got bent from backing into something and that melted the bumper. The ones you have now are aftermarket tips.
Those are factory EP4110 exhaust tips. They were an optional upgrade. There is something wrong with your exhaust that I wouldn't try to fix by extending the tips. You should take the mufflers off and examine the brackets as they might be bent.
What year is your car. There are different bumpers on the MK1 and MK2 vehicles. The MK1 has shorter tips and the MK2 are longer. MK1 tips on a MK2 996 will be to short and look like your problem..
