Great event, lots of Porsches, BMWs, Mercedes and usually a small number of Audi's to see. Larz Anderson Auto Museum, 15 Newton St, Brookline, MA. Would be great to meet some of the guys on here. Yes I was. I guess you have to show up very early to get a spot in the main lot - at 7:45a, I was relegated to the next lot over. Was your 996 there? You should show it off at German Car Day! I really liked the 1000hp GTR and the Tesla Roadster there. Next time I will snap some pics and post them up on here.
The GTR was amazing. I was there - got there right at about 8 and was in the second row near the top, facing the inward field. I was sandwiched by an S4 and Golf R. The weather people are projecting the remnants of TS Bill to roll through Saturday evening into Sunday morning, so I may show up later in the day and take my chances with parking. We'll see though how accurate the forecast turns out to be.

I saw your C4S at Cars & Coffee, didn't see you though. I like those C4S' - they sure are sharp looking cars. Right now, the forecast isn't looking too good for Sunday ;( I hope they're wrong Got my latest issue of Panorama in the mail yesterday. Great article in there about a couple from Iowa that put almost 600k miles on their '02 996 turbo coupe!

If it was me, sorry I missed you and thanks! I'm flipping through Panorama now while watching F1 qualifying. Larz is tough during a storm. I will be skipping if it's too bad. Has anyone found C&C pictures online? It seems like everyone had a DSLR out.

Both of you guys - thinconcrete and theclutch. Glad they decided to postpone German Car Day, superceding their rain or shine policy - it's probably one of their bigger events of the year. The new date is TBD. The lawn events list for Sunday's is booked out until the end of October, unless they decide to do it on a Saturday. Sorry, I don't have the link handy but if you go to the Herb Chambers C&C Facebook page, one of the guys on there has a flickr link to ~150 photos that he took. There's a silver C4S in his album that must belong to one of you guys. There's also a YouTube video floating around that shows a bunch of cars leaving the event.

I was referencing the Larz C&C the weekend before this past one. This is the first I've heard of Herb Chambers doing a C&C. I do look forward to seeing when the revised German Car Day date is - hopefully I will be able to make it.
I've never been to the C&C at the Larz. I'll have to check it out next time. Thanks for the heads up!
Rescheduled to Saturday, October 10, 10a to 2p. That's the long Columbus holiday weekend so I may not be around.
