Does anybody know the inside diameter of the helmholtz muffler tube hole so I can insert a plug? Insert into the hard plastic muffler piece. I want to leave all the stock bits in place and just plug the hole and put the original helmholtz tube back on so it looks 100% stock. My understanding is that there is a lip at the bottom of the inside diameter that will stop the plug moving down into the airbox and I assume a tight enough fit will stop it moving up into the hose towards the plenum intake direction. I guess a little loctite could also be used. Being in Japan I know they are tough on mods so 100% stock looking is what I want. Thanks in advance
